Bio

I specialize in creating innovative and practical machine learning methods that drive advancements in computational health. My primary focus areas include natural language processing, temporal modeling, and human-AI interaction. I’m passionate about leveraging these techniques to deliver personalized decision support tailored to specific digital health applications.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. Before joining Dartmouth, I was a postdoctoral research scholar at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science. I’m honored to have been recognized as one of the Rising Stars in EECS in 2020, which is an international group of upcoming female faculty members in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science who excel academically and are dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion. Along my academic journey, I’ve been fortunate to receive prestigious awards, including the UVA Graduate Commonwealth Fellowship, the Adobe Research Scholarship, the NSF Smart and Connected Health Student Award, and the UVA Big Data Fellowship.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with my loved ones!
